Port Blair, March 2: The President ACCI, Shri HN Arora in a letter to the Principal Secretary, A&N Administration Shri Shakti Sinha and Director Shipping Capt. K.S. Seshasai on behalf of Executive Committee members of ACCI congratulated STARS for winning the prestigious “Awards for e-governance 2009-10” for outstanding performance in Citizen Centric Service Delivery. Arora said that since the commencement of STARS the mainland passengers to and fro have heaved a sigh of relief as the harassment caused to them has been done away. He therefore hoped that the sincere efforts would go a long way in curbing the corrupt practices and providing practices and providing better services to the ship passengers during the journey as also for which they are entitled to, in a democratic and fast developing country.
