Port Blair, Aug 12: The moon has not been sighted in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Aug 11, 2010, and accordingly it was unanimously decided by the Hilal Committee to declare that the Ramzan Month would commence in the islands from Aug 13. The Tarawe Namaz will be offered from Aug 12. The Andaman & Nicobar Hilal Committee has conveyed its good wishes to the islanders on the commencement of the auspicious month of Ramzan, a communication from ANHC said.
