Port Blair, Aug 13: The Breast Feeding Week was also observed by CHC Diglipur. Three group meetings were held in Anganwadi Centre, Desh Bandu Gram, Gram Panchayat Sita Nagar and Gram Panchayat Navin Nagar as part of the observance. A baby show was also conducted in this connection at Gram Panchayat Navin Nagar, in which 40 babies participated. The Pradhan, Shri Kawal Krishna gave away prizes to the winners and all the participants. The CMO, Dr. MK Mahato spoke about the importance of breast feeding.
