Kuldeep Requests Lt. Governor to Enhance the Scale of Distribution of Rice

Port Blair, Aug. 18: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, Pradesh Congress Committee has requested the Lt Governor to enhance the scale of distribution of rice under PDS distribution, which was curtailed to 5kg from 7 kg per adult members. He further requested Lt. Governor to increase the allocation of rice in such a manner, so that a medium size of a family comprising of 4-5 adult members could also receive the prescribed national standard of 35 kgs of food grains per month in total.
