Zubaida Begum Resigns From Congress, Joins Trinamool Congress

Port Blair, Aug. 20: Smti Zubaida Begum, Councillor Ward. No. 6 of Congress Party and Ex. Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council has tendered her resignation from the primary membership of the Congress party and has joined the Trinamool Congress with immediate effect. Smti Begum has been an active social worker and a strong support to the Congress party since decades. Shri Manoranjan Bhakta, President, Andaman & Nicobar Trinamool Congress has welcomed Smti. Zubaida Begum in the party and hoped that she would continue with the same spirit of social work in future also.
