Port Blair, Aug. 20: Laughing at the way the Congress party is functioning in the islands, the Member of Parliament Shri Bishnu Pada Ray told the media at a press conference, “I am astonished that the Congress President Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has no issues to take up for the people of the islands. I see press releases every day, which is a copy of the points I placed before the standing committee of the Island Development Authority”. Was the Congress president sleeping all these years when they were in power, he asked. “It’s high time Sharma to start working for the cause of the islanders. Just by copying points raised by me, you will not be able to fool the people anymore”, said the Member of Parliament.
