Little Andaman, Sept. 3: A massive rally was taken out today at R.K. Pur Village, Little Andaman by the members of Trinamool Congress under the leadership of Shri Ananta Biswas, President Election Committee (TMC), Little Andaman and Shri Motilal Sarkar, Senior Leader of TMC, A&N Islands. The rally was taken out at 9.00 am today where 700 villagers participated and campaigned for the Trinamool Congress candidates contesting in the Panchayat Election 2010.
In a message Shri Manoranjan Bhakta said that we are expecting to get a clean majority in all the Panchayats were polling is to be held. There were no political activities in the Islands since last many years. Now the people realized that there were many issues that remained unattended and the people in general are suffering. In the eve of Panchayat & Municipal Elections the public fury burst out. There is no doubt that this would affect the public opinion in the coming elections.
