Port Blair, Jan. 19: The Member of Parliament, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray has made a request to the Union Minister of Home Affairs to add Tushnabad Community Hall in his tour programme during his visit to the islands. The MP wished that the Minister should have an interaction with the Buffer Zone affected villages along with elected PRI Members, political leaders, social workers etc. with an extended visit to Tirur Jarawa area under Tushnabad Panchayat.

Similar request has been made to the Home Minister for a visit to Kadamtala Community hall.

Shri Bishnu Pada Ray further requested to direct the Administration to chalk out the tour programme accordingly and wide publicity about the same be given, particularly through the Govt. Print media, The Daily Telegrams.
