Port Blair, Jan. 23: The National Girl Child Day will be observed in this UT alongwith the rest of the country on January 24, 2012. A function will be organised to mark the day by the A&N State Social Welfare Board at the Tagore auditorium, Port Blair at 10.00 AM in which the First Lady of the islands, Smt Bhawanee Singh will be the chief guest.
