Port Blair, Jan. 30: The colourful cultural programme at the Beating the Retreat at Netaji Stadium on 29th January, 2012 by the small school going children was not only appreciated by one and all but also reminded those who gave their lives in the struggle got India’s freedom. Most of the spectators had their eyes full of tears. The choice of background scores were also superb. These little children who had not only made the programme a memorable one, had also given their cent per cent energy to make this event a grand success for which they had to undergo rigorous practices under the scorching sunlit. The State President R Mohan, had thus requested the Lt Governor, ANI and the Secretary Education to consider each of the students including their trainers, certificates of participation in the State level event and hoped that this act of the Administration would not only bring a pleasant innocent smile on the faces of these students but also encourage other such students to do their best in the National and or State level events. |
