Port Blair, Jan. 24: A&N Administration has purchased 34 seated 19 star Buses, which are not suitable for the general public. It has only 34 seats. The space in the Bus is very narrow to move for which the females and handicapped persons are facing difficulties. The Quality of the Bus is very poor and cannot be used for a long period. It is not worthy for the long routes due to its minimum seating capacity.

Raising objections against the purchase of the busses, the State BJP has requested that the Buses be utilised for the tourists and the next lot of 20 numbers of Buses may be purchased as per the requirements of public.
